French Commode #61027

A fabulous French antique chest, with magnificent gilt-bronze mounts, c1830. The walnut timbers have developed a lovely colour over time, which are complemented by its original black marble top. Of good proportions and symmetrical form – the antique commode could carry a Louis XV, Louis XVI, Empire or Restoration mirror above it. In very good and original condition.
