Antique Chest #61025

An outstanding piece of period French antique furniture, circa 1805. The well figured burr elm has aged beautifully and has developed a very warm and rich colour. The gilt bronze mounts are very good, the timbers and general construction are superb and the chest has been very well cared for and polished during its life.
