A very impressive late 17th century period Louis XIV antique armoire. The hand carved walnut doors and chestnut frame have an incredibly rich colour and a fabulous patina. Retaining all its original locks, hinges and brackets and in good original condition. As this type of antique furniture (circa 1680) is becoming rarer in this condition it is also a very good investment piece. The antique cabinetry is of pegged construction, breaking down into 2 x side panels, a top and bottom section, 2 x doors and a back panel for transport.
